What is the point of this photo, other than to remind me that it took two hours for my ears to stop ringing? Apparently, Aslan thought it a good idea to streak after his bath, and... well, the only little girl laughing has a brother a few months older than Aslan.

The point being, look at my felted armchair covers! Nice over ductape. Niiiiice.... (Wool of the Andes from Knit Picks, case you're wondering...) Posted by Picasa

OMG, your blog is hilarious! I'm bookmarking you!

Thanks for the comment the other day. My metabolic/hormone thingy is PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) which causes some infertility issues for me. It is also linked to pre-diabetes. Which I also have.

About Misti Alpaca, I think it is actually infused with cocaine, hence the rapid addiction. I have no labs to back it, but that's my theory. And about the "I. Am. Broke." thing, I've been there and done that. Hang in there, this too shall pass. (tip: you can get cheap wool by going to Good Will/Salvation Army/Thrift stores and buying old sweaters and unraveling them. You can get some fun stuff that way! For a few dollars!) Another idea: you might not make much money this way, but what about applying at your local yarn shop? Though a book store sounds wonderfully quiet and intellectually stimulating (I have two preschoolers too)

Take care!
